Founder of "Remarks Group for the Analysis of Political Violence" and "MB Media"
Murad Batal Shishani is a journalist, researcher, and media expert. He founded the Remarks Group for Political Violence Analysis and owns MB Media for consulting and media training in London.
He has accumulated nearly two decades of field experience with the BBC in Arabic and English, working as a roving and resident correspondent across multiple conflict environments, covering pivotal events in the region, conducting exclusive interviews with leaders, and serving within the BBC as a "resident expert on Islamic groups." He also worked as a resident correspondent in Jerusalem, the West Bank, Baghdad, Washington, and Istanbul, and presented investigative documentaries including: "Crime in Istanbul", "Journey into a Jihadist Mind", and "Working for the Enemy".

Through MB Media and Remarks, Shishani offers leadership training programs for the public and private sectors, including “optimal media performance for senior figures,” “training official spokespeople,” and “media campaign analysis,” along with specialized courses on engaging with Western and specialized media (American, British, Iranian, Turkish, and Russian). Programs include applied units in monitoring, analysis, and crisis communications, built on real-world scenarios and on-camera exercises with structured reviews.
Shishani has published several books and hundreds of studies and articles in Arabic and English, with ongoing research interests in Islamic movements and political communication. He is regularly hosted by Arab and international channels for commentary and analysis. His professional vision focuses on enabling leaders and institutions to craft clear and persuasive messages, linking journalistic craft with strategic communication in complex environments, and equipping spokespeople with practical tools for on-camera appearance, press conferences, and digital media.
